Sankyo James bond 007 stuck in modern mode

I'm new to this friendly forum and pretty new to pachinko machines so plz don't be to harsh on me I recently bought a Sankyo 007 James Bond pachinko which seems to be stuck on modern mode.

The previous owner told me the machine did work on both classic and modern mode when he first got it. After storing it for a period of time when he plugged it back in the machine seemed to be stuck on modern mode and date/time occasionally pops up when powering on the machine. (After asking) he told me he never messed with the program settings (don't think he knew how to anyways).

After reading the pachitalk previous threads on this machine I tried to do a hard reset (powered down machine, pressed and hold reset button, powered on machine, release reset button after 5 sec) which does not seem to do anything besides some beeping sounds. When I press and hold the change button after reset the following screens turn up. I did not change anything and just rebooted the machine but I'm wondering if there is an option here to change the machine from modern to classic.

Is there anyone who can help a newby out and point me in the right direction? Is the machine permanently stuck in modern mode or can this be restored? Thanks a bunch for your help in advance!

Sorry I've never owned or played the 007 pachinko, so I'm not sure about the different modes and how to access them.

Hopefully other members will be able to assist

Checked out the links from pachi research center the other day but they don't help me any further. to setting this machine to classic mode.

That second window seems to roughly translate to Classic Mode Activation Date

Now this is weird. I can't read Japanese, but for the images, I get the feeling that classic mode and modern mode are automatically changed by the month!

Pages 8 through 11 explain how by default, modern mode starts, and then 4 months later, classic mode changes, and a month after that, its something else.
It looks that there are two reset buttons to press and the red chance button to set the modes and their times.

HOWDY folks. I have owned my 007 for a long time and with the help from this thread I did set the clock and date . I hope that one of our cool members could translate the . Manual

I think Heima is right about that Time clock auto adjustment. I tracked down a Japanese site with a description of the machine and a couple of screen captures. Google translate got the following text (straight copy-paste tekst form google translate):

"Up to 3 weeks from the introduction is capable of playing only in the modern mode, classic mode appeared when it comes to four week introduction. Enables the mode selection in the mode selection screen from the fifth week after introduction, I can play in any mode. Therefore it is not possible to play classic mode in the hall of freshly introduced."

I'll leave the machine plugged in the power outlet for a couple of weeks just to make sure but it seems like this will solve the issue. The following picture was taken this morning and if Drunkenclam is correct with his translation it seems like the clock for Classic mode has turned on.

I was just thinking about how does a modern pachinko cycle it's odds clock and reaches when it is First switch on ?

I am have started with this machine the 007 since I did a hard reset and real time clock and date set . I will keep you informed about how my machine cycles .

In the same vein as takethecastle's question, how about powering on the game, setting the actual date, leave it running for a few days, then set the date to a few months in advance. Would the pachinko think that now the months have elapsed and it will go back to classic mode?

Howdy folks well the 007 cell has been displaying the current date on the top small circle display on the right ( 2014 - 1 - 6 ) a foot note I have installed Gaku's volume controls for the speakers ( better volume range )
