Default Sankyo Lumina - Japanese Woman Saying Something is Wrong

Greetings to all! This is my first post after several months of absorbing the wealth of info this site has to offer.

Went to play my machine the other day...plugged it in...powered it up and its strobe flashing bright white lights and its telling me something but I don't speak Japanese. The
person I bought it from mentioned this happened if it was left umplugged for too long but I don't remember what he said to remedy it. Any insite would be greatly appreciated!

Also looking for a left speaker for this machine as well if anyone can help. It had been damaged prior to my purchase.

    Thanks,
    Roger

Start with a general reset. Hold the reset button down when switching the power on. There a 3 on that game, try one on the cel, if that doesn't work try the next. After a memory clear, the alarm can sound for a minute.

Also, Thats not the Lumina frame, thats the Crystella.

But your in the right place

Thanks for properly identifying the frame. I tried 3 reset buttons I could find. See video. I powered the machine on while holding down the buttons...waited about 4-5 seconds and released the buttons...one at a time of course. The only thing that changed was the color of the flashing lights. All error indicator lights are lit and - is in the error display. Reset buttons - YouTube

Yup... Had that same error on restarts or after memory clear on my Eva 5 (crystella guts)... there is a third reset button. There's one next to the error display, one next to the power... this is the other one.

Heima... help me out here? You have that Eva 5 now, and I think I showed you what to press when she said that...

Hmmm, I think it was the button on the far right that stopped the talking. But I had to turn on the pachinko, listen to the woman, push the reset button, turn off the pachinko, turn the pachinko back on.

I know in another situation, maybe it was when the playfield glass door wasn't fully seated, after I seated the glass, it was another 20 seconds until the voice stopped talking.

There are also a couple of frame switches that can cause the lights to flash like you are experiencing take a look at the attached photos for location.

Issue resolved. I pushed the middle reset button (seen in the video on #4 post) while the machine was powered on (heima's idea. tks)...the woman stopped talking...heard a few tone bursts and then the machine was fully functional. @jmaclerran I tested the frame switches but had no impact. Thanks for the pics. Learned something. Still curious about the root cause. Caused by being unplugged too long? Are there any batteries? Maybe a dead one? Problem unique to my machine or all Crystellas? Thanks for everyone's help! I've asked a friend to get her mother to translate what the woman was saying as well as the text that was on the video display. Will let everyone know.

I turned on two of my machines last weekend(wired to the same transformer) and got the memory clear out of both of them. Lucky both Heiwa and the alarm goes off after a minute. But one was a Japanese lady. The other was all the characters from Lupin III

I have (or had) two machines with the same frame. One always required this reset after a memory reset (or time enough for memory backup to drain, hence reset), the other... Never. The fact that I couldn't reproduce the issue on the other machine/cell makes me think it's just an extra security function in some? Never seen it in a v-spark or v-trigger cell either. Unique to later crystellas, maybe. At any rate, not to worry. Just try to power it on once every few days at least.

Oh yeah, here's a translation of what that woman is saying in Japanese:

"Help me Obi-wan Kenobi, you're my only hope!"
