Default Thinking about buying a vintage machine

Since I'm just starting out buying I found a vintage machine on CL near me and have no clue if it's a good deal or not

    Vintage Sankyo Pachinko Machine

Hoping someone could let me know because it seems overpriced but wanted to be sure, it looks pretty clean

    Thanks!

Seems quite a bit over-priced to me. I would say $50 or less for that machine. Unless that one really calls to you or the seller is really willing to negotiate, I would probably keep looking.

    its over priced yes...

but it apears to all be there.. the play feild looks like it has no stains and is clean.. the chrome has a nice shine to it.. etc etc etc.. i cant find anything to really complain about..

based on your location i would guss machines are kinda hard to find.. i think i might be willing to pay a bit more with all these factors..

two things to help you negoications..

does it have enought pachinko balls... (the answer is always no)
and ask if the lights work.. (most sellers have no idea if or how..)

be diapointed when ya see it and make them an offer ya can live with

Another question I ask when negotiating is do they have the key to the front of the machine. The answer is always no and I explain that it will not be easy to get one made for the machine.

i have bought 5 machines in the last two weeks and the most i spent was $40. all have worked but only one had some balls. keep looking! i just picked up a single shot this morning for dirt cheap, but it will definitely need some cosmetic work. the mechanical is okay.
