    Default Sega Mad Money

Manhattan slot machine : Lot 471

An auction for a Sega slot. From what I understand, Sega used Mills' tooling and dies and copied their design. I've read that these imports are not particularly desirable by collectors here because of the foreign currency required and the internal mech isn't the same quality as an original Mills. Apparently a lesser grade of metal was used as well to keep costs down. For home use the quality factor is probably not an issue.
However, these old Sega machines of this series are attractive machines, came in various colors of that era, and epitomize the mid century modern look. From my point of view, if its a working vintage slot then it has to be fun.
First pic is of auction machine and the others are just examples of other Segas.
