Default Pachislo been sitting for awhile

Hi I'm new to this form and was playing at a friends home which had several of these pachislo machines, had a great time and have been bitten by the bug now I want to purchase some pachislo, been reading the posts for information and have found two that have been sitting in a garage for a few years one has the key and the other does not they both light up but don't work, I've read about resetting but what else should I be looking for in machines that have been sitting around and aren't working, they want $75 each the title are in japanese with some tokens is this worth it ? What would you pay for them as parts and do the parts only work for the same models or are they interchangeable. Thanks

    Hi there

Just wondering if you have any pics of the machines at all?

The members here are usually pretty good at identifying models and / or manufacturers and pics would help to give a date for the pachislos and any model specific info that may be useful to you, including a more accurate price guide,

Not sure what is wrong with them, 'not working' could cover a whole host of things really

it could be they just need re-setting, are there any error codes displayed on the machines, are they accepting the tokens okay?

Perhaps our more technically minded members can assist with giving you some trouble shooting pointers

In the meantime, a big Welcome to PachiTalk!!

I picked up a pachislo taco slot machine that had been sitting for a long time it also was not working when I got it . I changed the fuses and the lights would come on it would take coins and spin the reels but the buttons would not stop the reels I changed the stop board fuse and it blew the fuse right off I had to get a new stop board for it now it works great I did have a ce error coming up on it every time I wound go to shut the door I found that the door was loose I tighten the screw and did a full reset it I haven't had a problem since knock on wood. I still have 1 or 2 light bulbs to change but other than that its good to go iv got one more iv got to go look at this week for 100.00 obo 75 sounds ok because even if you cant get it to work strip it sell it on ebay.com spare parts. im hooked on these now to

finding parts can be a pain but there out there... taking one for parts to fix the other may work.. but i would bet a weeks pay that there different and probably will not share parts..

pics would be best but if there not working sounds like a reason to get a discount...

    and of course

Sorry no pics, found these at a garage sale the owner said that they were working 4-5 years ago these are 3 reel type machines with japanese writing on the front, they light up but on one the coins drop back into the front tray the other makes clicking sounds and the lights flicker no key, I don't know if there's a error message as I didn't know what to look for, both machines look the same so I'm thinking I can use parts from one to fix the other, are parts interchangeable from one pachislo to another or do they have to be the same model, $150 for two machines that do not work seems high but then I don't know what they're worth so should I taking a chance or buy them for parts, what would you pay for a parts machine? I'm kind of going backwards as I do not have a working one yet I just stumbled upon these and need some advice. Thanks

you usually can't switch parts, the price seems way too high for 2 machines not working, in the past i've sold working ones with both keys and 400 tokens for $60.00 to $75.00
