try setting your taco slot at 3 or 4 for more smaller wins, it will be more fun that way

best pachislo?? now there's a question and a half

as you know it all depends on personal preferences and the themes you find most interesting, so i would start with the themes you like be that cartoon, fighting, casino style, etc etc and then see what is actually for sale as some models are very hard to find these days

Although I would say that the more interactive models with large video screens seem to make for the better pachislo experience, of course that's my own personal opinion coming from a modern Pachinko minded gal rather than pachislo

However, saying that, I did once find a pachislo that matched my pachinkos for variety and excitement

Not sure if many are around or available, but it was Battle Caesar and i wrote a bit of a review a few years ago in this thread

    Battle Caesar

I still rate it as my best pachislo, but then I haven't bought any since then so there may be others like this out there

    Angie ...
Pachinkos, Pachislos, Coffee, Papercraft Ninja, Pinball

In my opinion any pachislo can be fun to play.It just comes down to personnal interest in the game play, and the theme of the machine.

Sinbad is definitely top 5 on my list, possibly as high as #2. My all-time favorite is Godzilla. Its not even close.

i am pretty certain i saw a converted Popeye 2005 pachislo on a cruise ship casino recently complete with the ship battle between Bluto (who the heck is brutus?? I sure do not remember Bluto being named Brutus on the animated cartoons as a kid! ) and Popeye. As I remember, the machine was translated and took currency, and was quite fun, but I really wonder if it was just a regular slot machine
1 Nishijin B Battle of the Monkey & Crab Pachinko, 1 Sankyo 1987 Flying Carpet Pachinko complete with speaker disabling plug, & 1 Taiyo 2007 King Kong Pachi w/ Guile Brand "SONIC BOOM!!!!!" eardrum rupturing system

    from wikipedia:

After the theatrical Popeye cartoon series ceased production in 1957, Bluto's name was changed to Brutus because it was incorrectly believed that Paramount Pictures, distributors of the Fleischer Studios (later Famous Studios) cartoons, owned the rights to the name "Bluto". King Features actually owned the name, as Bluto had been originally created for the comic strip. Due to a lack of thorough research, they failed to realize this and reinvented him as Brutus to avoid supposed copyright problems.[2] "Brutus" (often pronounced "Brutusk" by Popeye) appears in the 1960–1962 Popeye the Sailor television cartoons, with his physical appearance changed, making him morbidly obese rather than muscular. He normally sported a blue shirt, brown pants and didn't appear to wear any socks. The character reverted to Bluto for Hanna-Barbera's The All-New Popeye Hour, the 1980 live-action Popeye movie, as well as the 1987 Popeye and Son series also by Hanna-Barbera. The character was also named Bluto in the 2004 movie Popeye's Voyage: The Quest for Pappy. Brutus later appeared in the Popeye arcade game released by Nintendo.

Sorry for the hijack... Continue on.
    Gotta catch 'em all Pa-chink-o
