Default HELP! Newby here! Indiana Jones game play! :D

    Hey Guys!

This is my first post in the forum. I have been watching in the shadows for a week now, and this forum has helped me a lot! I'm the new owner of a beautiful Indiana Jones pachinko with the custom mine cart cabinet...

I have cleaned, and prepared the machine, everything seems to be working, the machine is giving payouts and I know how to identify errors and all that stuff, but I have a couple of problems.

    1. The machine doesn't do a hard reset. No matter what I do it doesn't make a hard reset. Only a soft reset. I even disconnected most of the harness and nothing...

    2. I have a lot of questions about the gameplay. I know how to trigger the Spins through the start pocket. Also I know how most of the pockets work, but no matter what the machine doesn't go into fever mode. I have even "tricked" the machine putting tons of balls through the skull, but the machine seems to be stuck into the spin, eventually it goes to some kind of chance mode or something like that, where I have two matching numbers and I go through several animations to end up having a no-matching number (like 2- 3 -2).

    3. I don't understand how this mechanism (a) works. It makes the lights (b) cycle, and sometimes they change the position always between the right and left never to the inferior two, and also seems to make this trap door (c) open for a split of a second. And also makes this lights cycle (d). But I have no idea how it affects the gameplay, if it affects it at all...

I have more questions... but I will be more than happy with these by now

    Welcome to PachiTalk!

I won't be much help with the hard reset on your machine but I can tell you that a Fever will come in time. Remember these are intended to be gambling machines. The game will decide when it is time to go into a fever. When I got my first modern machine, I played it for about a month with no fever. Then my wife decided to give it a try and hit a fever in about 10 minutes. Be patient, it will happen and when it does I am sure you will not be disappointed.

Every machine also has different odds. For example mine is 1 and 375. You can find out what your odds are by opening the front glass and checking the corners. Different machines will be in different places. If you odds are really high, it might take awhile. Like Card Shark said, they are gambling machines and are designed for the house to win. You just have the advantage of playing as much and as long as you want. It will happen and when it does a lot of times you hit many times in a short period of time. I have hit as many as nine in one session. It is well worth the wait. In the meantime just enjoy all the special modes the machine will go into. Typically, when the machine starts doing a lot of crazy stuff, you are getting close to a jackpot.

    Hello

I believe there are 2 different specs on the Indiana Jones pachinko

the SF-T or ST7 has a blue cell background
the MF-T has a orangey background

    Thanks for the reply guys!!

    mine is a SF-T with 1/399 odds.

The thing is that not only the machine doesn't to into fever mode, but it seems that it doesn't go to any specials/bonus mode neither, or at least not often...

I don't play launching balls like crazy, I use the pause button, and try to "aim" as much as I can, is that the way it's suppose to work?

I unplug the machine after playing with it, does that "reset" the odds?

I don't believe powering down the machine will reset the odds. I think you may find launching more balls could help as it is really just a matter of time. I have hit several fevers on my machine since my wife first did. What tommy4132 said about multiple fevers in close proximity has also happened on my machine as well.

It's a modern pachinko and you really need to be letting those pachinko balls really fly!!

Moderns are all about fast exciting gameplay

I only use the pause & careful ball aiming for the more sedate vintages

You'll find a sweet spot as you play and turn that shooter knob

Sometimes it seems to take forever to get a. 'fever' other times you'll get many back to back

Keep playing, that FEVER will happen

Your attachments aren't working, but for #3 it sounds like you are describing the sub-roulette.

    From Gibisans:

The subroulette can be located anywhere on playfield and sometimes within the LCD display. When a ball enters a through gate, the roulette starts. When this roulette hits a certain combination (for example "77"), the start or secondary claw will open, typically once for a short time (less than a second) during normal play at a approx. fixed probability of 15%. During bonus and chance play, it will open for a longer time (1-2 seconds) and/or for a consecutive number of times and at a fixed probability of 50%.

Maybethe sub roulette feature. Widely known in Sankyo to be very rare for the tulips to open. Once you hit a fever this opens more often. As for the chance button. A message will appear on screen as to when to hit it. The rest of the time it gets the lights during the first 30seconds after switching on to cycle. The more you play you will notice difference in the Reaches. Certain things appear or change colour.

I have good news! I had a fever just today

However, it seems that my suspicions about the machine not holding the memory when powering down are true... When I plug-in the machine it doesn't starts on the same screen than before. it's that normal?

    Also... here are the pictures...

I don't know if a mod can fix my post, I don't know why the photos doesn't work
