Medals and tokens

Hello everyone.Please and thank you for any help. This is my first thread.I have a Pachislo slots machine.It has a Jack Daniels theme.It was not working when I got it. So far I replaced the power switch, disassembled and cleaned the hopper,it was very cruddy,repaired the coin mechanism because the rivets were broken,and did a hard restart.My problem now is A> The insert medals lamp (Whats insert medals mean ?) is flashing B> It wont accept/register a token, when reset button is pushed it releases the coin I put in. Please and Thank you !

Are you able to post pics of your pachislo? the reason I ask is that I'm not sure what model / brand it is

I don't think there were any official Jack Daniels branded machines? (but I could be wrong ) So it may be helpful to see what machine it started life as

Some models play with 1, 2 or 3 tokens and some (mostly later models) play with 3 per spin (what we call MAX Bet machines)

The 'Medals' referred to are Pachislo Tokens, machines usually have it worded as 'medals' but it is Japanese Pachislo Tokens

So really good clear pic or pics of the front of your machine should help identify the model and / or manufacturer and then hopefully the members can offer some more specific advice to you

It also sounds llike your putting tokens in but they are getting stuck on the acceptor. Some people have had problems with bi-metal tokens getting stuck inside by the electro magnet uses to enable the acceptor. I think you need to avoid tokens with cherries on them.

The acceptor was bent just enough for the tokens to get stuck,problem solved.Thank you new friends !
