Default Ball Loader for a ~1975 Apollo theme Computer Pachinko machine

Hello all I have a computer pachinko machine made by Satomi ~1970-75. It is a quarter operated machine with an Apollo Rocket theme and has a closed system to cycle the balls. It is a great little machine but it is missing the ball loader. I have uploaded a zip file with the close ups of the ball launch area inside and out and another shot and links to a couple other threads on similar machines. I have no idea what could be compatible with the machine. I talked to a couple of the major references on the forum, pachinkoplanet and pachinkoman but without the parts they could not tell me what I needed. I am hoping that someone out there might be able to tell me what to look for that would be compatible or if you have one maybe a picture of the launcher from the inside so I have an initial point of reference. Thanks to all for reading.-Cheers ball slot pics.zip

Now to help with your question. I have a computer pachinko as well. Below is a picture of my machine, the part you are missing and where it goes.

Unfortunately, I do not have a spare, maybe someone will be along soon who will have an idea of where you can get one.

I just checked and these links are still working. The first one is a site with information about your machine. The second is a direct link to a pdf file containing the manual to the machine.

All, Thank you so much for the inputs and information. I will follow up on the part momentarily. Every time I tried to get back to the forum this weekend it told me the server was too busy. Based upon the diagram that Card Shark posted the link for, I may be missing some other parts in that area as well. I somehow missed the key pics in that zip file so I am posting them here. There is an adjustment plate and adjustment screws in the diagram that I don't have but I also don't see a place to mount them.. I will try to take some better pictures of mine tomorrow when I am off work. Hopefully that will help.

I took some pictures this morning before heading into work. Unfortunately I do not have very good editing software on my work pc. I hope these help.

The first image is a close up of the front of the machine with the part installed properly...

    front attached 2.jpg

Next is an image from the back with the part installed...

    back installed.jpg

Now an image of the front with the part removed. I circled the point where the part attaches...

    Front removed1.jpg

Next is a close up of the back of the part, I circled the grooved metal piece that is inserted in the hole indicated on the machine to attach it.

    Part Back.jpg

The final picture is a close up of the front of the part to show how the pivot point is attached to the part...

    part front.jpg

I hope this helps. Just let me know if you need any other pictures.

It looks like the knurled end of the brass pivot (fourth pic) should remain in the machine (third pic) and the lever should be removed by taking off the E-clip (fifth pic). From his pics, the plastic that the brass pivot should go into has been damaged and will require some attention as well. I know you said the broken part is common. Is the broken mounting common too? The plastic looks fairly thin there.

And for the record, I've been getting the 'server too busy' error a lot lately, too.

the broken plastic is common.. i have had my hands in 4 of this style of machine, all have the same pivot point and 3 of the 4 were broken or damaged at the thin plastic mount point...

This is fantastic! Thanks Card Shark! Of course the down side is I now know why the part is missing... After seeing where the mount point is, I recognize that that is the place in my plastic shroud that is broken out at the bottom. Now worries, I have a solution. I have some small brass washers that I can epoxy to the plastic that will fit the pin and take the shock up for future use. Problem solved.

I think I can fix it by epoxying a brass washer to the plastic. That should sufficiently reinforce the plastic and provide a good pivot point.

    Hi everyone.
I am new to the community and trying to restore our 1970's Satomi Computer Pachinko machine. I found this old thread because we have the exact machine pictured with the broken ball loader part. I have been looking around the websites but cannot find any part that matches. Does anyone here know where I could find one? Below is the part I need, just to be clear. Thanks!

Hello, this guy is still in business. If he doesn't have it, you may have to reach out to one of the 3-d printing houses.

I junked one of those machines about 2 years ago.....I needed the space and it was (I think) beyond repair.....I’ve found that no matter how long I hold onto something, invariably, once I let it go, I need it......
I'm not addicted to Pachinkos. I can quit at any time. Did I tell you about the three machines that I have on the way?
