New to me 1975 Nishijin B "JAL" Shiroi-Kamome

Found this one on Kijiji Toronto, and finally was able to pick it up yesterday.

The front is in decent condition. The previous owner took reasonable care of the unit.

Sticker corroborates my estimate of a 1975 Nishijin B from the images the prior owner provided. The machine expired in March 1976.

Center decoration is an airplane, which is quite neat. (I wasn't able to make out what the decoration was from the original images)

Obligatory photo of the back. I had to spend about 15 minutes removing stray balls from the various lighting holes. Decent condition, though I found quite a bit of fluff in various parts of the tracks. I might need to pull this one apart to clean it out.

So we did have pachinko importers in Canada at one point in time. Tag indicating that this machine came from a Pachinko restoration company in Calgary, AB.

At least now I've got a vintage pachinko to play with while my Masamura Super Deluxe is in pieces awaiting restoration/customization.

Nice looking machine. I have been in a 3 week game of email tag with the seller. Glad you were able to pick it up. Very few machines come available on Kijiji Toronto. Are you in the Toronto area?

I had the same experience. Almost gave up on it last week, and sure enough that's when he was able to meet up.

I'm actually in the Kitchener/Waterloo area, so it was a bit of a drive. Not a fan of Toronto traffic, that's for sure!

I was in your area Thursday looking for machines in Woodstock, Freelton and St. Jacob's. No luck.

I've only ever seen these machines on Kijiji. Nothing at yard sales or such as some of the other members seem to luck out with.

I'm done with buying machines for now, so unless someone posts an arrangeball you'll have a better chance of coming away with the next one
