Default trying to track missing parts for a Nishijin Super deluxe rev B.

    hey folks,
was wondering if any of you had any suggestion on where i may a replacement jackpot assembly for a Rev B. Nishijen super deluxe?
I picked it up off of craigslist for 28 bucks because I was looking for a decent unit to start restoring, seeing as I have just gotten into the hobby recently, I didn't want to spend way too much for a unit i was going to learn on anyways..

I have gotten it working within a couple of hours last night (was completely trashed because someone decide to try to fix it by exploration with a hammer.)

so after 3 hours of removing stapled on plastics, heating the plastics to be able to bend them back into shape, and re assembly, it turns out that the hopper just dumps to the win gate. (kinda sucks because i had to rig the flag to keep the ball shoot open so it can be played on.
anyways the ultimate plan is to totally restore this thing and I'm guessing the first step is to find the missing plastics...

    any ideas?

    P

    Welcome!

Pictures would be helpful, but even if the machine worked perfectly, we still like to see pictures.

No doubt some of the good folks here can help you.

You normally shouldn't have to do either of those...

I'm sure the pics might tell why you needed to heat the plastic. As for the flag, simple answer is get more pachinko balls or the rod needs to be adjusted.

If you have any questions feel free to ask. And once again welcome to PT.

you Folks asked for Pics so here they are IMG_0338_zpsc13b5ff8.jpg IMG_0339_zpsbd84398d.jpgIMG_0340_zps1bbeb5ef.jpgIMG_0341_zpsc5cd7c62.jpg @mxfaiman the entire linkage and feeder assembly is missing so any balls in the hopper just dump to the tray.. tonight i just got started with the upper tray door clean up and plastic clean up. i have found that "mothers mag and aluminum polish works wonders to remove the rust off of chrome. "

for some reason my reply didn't post.. again here's the pics..IMG_0341_zpsc5cd7c62.jpgIMG_0340_zps1bbeb5ef.jpgIMG_0339_zpsbd84398d.jpgIMG_0338_zpsc13b5ff8.jpg

as you can see the entire assembly behind the main attraction is missing (plastic figure eight and linkage ) so anything placed into the hopper just dumps out to the front tray.. in order to be able to shoot some balls i had to bend the flag actuator slightly (the pin not the flag arm) so the path would remain open so balls would feed (normally the hopper on top would be full and this would actuate the flag and pathway control)

Attachment 65026 I had to borrow a pic from Dan's Pachinko Data Page. because he has the same revision unit as i do. (b) thank you Dan Reed for the borrow..

But here's the missing components that are supposed to be behind my main attraction and light box.. in the center.

    well,

Hate to say it.. but this unit is being designated as a parts machine... I have acquired 2 other units that have all of their mech. and are only needing some cleanup or a couple of parts..

both are nishijin one rev A and a rev B. the rev B's payout tray is broken so the payout / play tray from this one will be put to good use..

thx for checking for the missing Mech Rival & mxfaiman.

Alright. Well I hate to see them go but if you put them to good use to fix another then it is worth it.

Also you know what new machines mean right?

    Spoiler
