    Default Pentagon Slot Machine

Hi, I have a slot machine that is marked NDT all the information is in Japanese except for the "Pentagon Have a Nice Battle... Good luck" in the front with an Eagle.
I don't have a key and would like to know more about it, like how I could open it or find a key, is it Japanese or Chinese?
It is full of coins and I would like to get them out...
Any help much appreciated. Thank you!

    Hello

I was just doing a little search whilst you were starting your thread

and so far I can see that your machine is called 'Pentagon' as you guessed

it looks to have been manufactured by NET in 1997

and I believe it is a 1,2 or 3 coin bet machine

Your machine is what we call a pachislo (sometimes referred to as Pachislot) and they are Japanese

Hopefully other members will post with more advice for you, but in the meantime Welcome to PachiTalk

it will have a large hole either in the back or bottom, the door latch is on the right side

either reach in if you can or use something like a long screwdriver or similar item and lift the door latch up to open the door.

you can use a piece of cardboard or plastic to keep the latch in the open position when you close the door

Tilt it back, or to the left. There should be an oval hole on the right side of the bottom. reach up and find the door latch on the right side, about 1/3 of the way up. Some lift up...some push down. his will unlatch the door. There are several ways to make entry easy once it is open. Here is what I did to Lucky Cherry.lock 002.jpglock 001.jpgSince my latch lifts up, I was able to drill a small hole in top of door, and attach a copper wire to an existing hole in the top latch. Lift to open. Sorry, no pic of the bottom latch, you only need to reach far enough for it!

As others have meationed, going through the bottom hole is the easiest way to open the machine. If the hopper has alot of tokens in it, try leaning/or tilting the machine to a minimum so tokens don't go everywhere. Maybe you will get lucky and the keys are inside. I've purchased two machines that the owners said they had lost the keys and when I opened it they were inside the machine on a key ring, with the reset key.

Here's a couple of pictures of what to expect.
