Default THUNDERBIRDS pachinko by Fuji (2009) - anyone got this machine?

I just got this in to sell for a friend and have managed to stop the squealing alarm by closing the door properly, loading balls in the back tray and front, replacing the missing dongle for the shooter (BTW - how do I get a replacement dongle now that isn't Daverob's? Is it possible to make your own?)

But the volume control is not installed on this model and (I can't believe I'm going to say this) I need to *increase* it for regular play as it's too quiet!!
Has anyone had a similar experience, or know this frame and know if a volume change is possible?

looks like it's in the OvalOne frame, so anyone with the following models may be able to help?

I believe you can make your own 'dongle' and there should be some posts somewhere here,

I'll post a link when if I find it

This page of DaveRob's site talks about the make up of the dongle.

Also I'm sure I have a few of the non Daverob dongles hanging around if you want one, just PM me.
    I've never met a Pachi I didn't like

Thank you very much for the info - as I'm a duffer when it comes to electronics, I won't be making my own!!

Would be happy to buy some regular ones.

I think I may still have a regular one here. If I can find it, it is yours.

This frame has a volume control on it. Look around closely on the back of the machine for a long, round, black, rotating knob. That is what my GHOST pachinko has on it.
    Same frame. Good Luck!

If you open this big compartment by pulling the tab here:

You'll see the volume control knob here:

(at least that is how it is on my AVP)

I think there are like 9 settings on it. The first I believe only use the top 2 speakers and 3 onwards use the top and bottom speaker (which is LOUD).

I put individual volume controls on the speakers to get it to where I like it but if the built in knob works for you even the better!

Thumbs up Re: THUNDERBIRDS pachinko by Fuji (2009) - anyone got this machine?

    God I love this forum!

    Easy fixed - thank you!

I tried setting 2, and it's LOUD - I clicked onto 3 to test and nearly split my head. I cannot possibly imagine what setting 10 is like!!!

Again, thank you for the detailed reply Pincade and Jerry.
