    Default ?Parts Machine No.2?

Went to check out a machine listed on Craigslist, (just for the parts), for $50. It was one of the "Donut hole" machines that have the lcd screen and belly glass covered with a sticker. Didn't know if the screen was bad or just unhooked. It came with 200 tokens and both keys. The listing stated that the machine had a programming error. It would stop on the same symbols and payout 15 tokens, at times, over and over again. I called and try to explain that the machine was in a Bonus Round and it was normal for the machine to payout this way. But he still wanted to sell it.

The machine stickers over the lcd screen and belly glass said "Fortune Wheel". fortune wheel.jpg
The machine is really a "Ora No Sora" machine.ora no sora.jpg

So, I got it home and played it a little and it really made no sence, not being able to see the screen. So,I thought I'd see if the screen would work. I unplugged all the connections to it and removed it from the cabinet.004.jpg (I peeled the sticker off the screen). To gain access to the screen I had to remove the plastic housing, (4 screws),003.jpg once the plastic cover is off, you take out 8 screws, (2 on each side and top and bottom), holding the metal frame together. 005.jpg Now the frame will lift apart. What I found was a ribbon cable unplugged.007.jpg006.jpg Plugged it back in and put everything back together. Got it back in the machine and hooked up turned on the power and this is what I got. 001.jpg 008.jpg "IT WORKED!!!" The original belly glass was not there, so I guess I'll have to come up with something for that.

What if...the HOKEY POKEY, is what it's all about?

This is what I came up with for the belly glass. I took some pictures of some screen shots and combined them, making one image, also made some windows for the stickers, that where covered. (Looks better than the Fortune Wheel belly glass, I think.)

The Dr has found you this one

If selling straight away for profit, probably not worth it, But if for restoration. Perfect
