I am new with a few questions about my Pachislo...

Hello, I have just purchased my first machine...It is a Olympic Red Meteor...It appears to be in great shape. I played it for the first time last night and had a couple questions. Remind you I am totally unfamiliar with these machines...First of all when you put a token in it takes like 4 tokens before it will give you 1 credit on the counter. However you can put one token in at a time and it will let you get one play. I am not sure if this is the way it is suppose to be or not. Also, I was playing and I won something big and it started going crazy, which was awesome but for some reason I cant or don't know how to reset it when you hit big on it. I just finally turned it off for a while and it seemed to reset itself. So how to I reset after you win like that, and get the lights and sound to reset? One other thing I was reading somewhere that you can add the auto stop chip to one of these, do you know if this machine will allow that? Also, is there anything else that I might be able to mod to make this machine even better? I am not sure how old this one is, my guess it about 2000, but it didn't come with a manual, so sorry for all the questions and some are probably thinking wow this guy is dumb,lol... but I am new and just looking to learn as much as I can about it...Thanks ahead of time for all the help...

you have a one two or three bet machine.. the 4th token then applyed to the credit bank..

if you run up 50 credtis (that is the max) then you can keep hitting the bet button and then spining...

more mordern machines are 3 bet or max bet only.. yours is older

you could try turning the door key to the left for a soft reset after bonus rounds

We were all dumb in the beginning, so feel free to ask any question. There are a lot of good people here willing to help.

Could you please post some pictures of the inside of your machine. Close up pictures of the inside of the door and inside the cabinet, showing the power supply. Sounds as if your machine is working fine, you just need to know how it all works. With the pictures, I could tell you where and what all the buttons and switches do.

Thanks for the info. That helps me out a lot on starting to understand the machine and how it works. Here are a few pics of the inside of it. I have to do some cleaning that is for sure, lol...I am going to do that this weekend...

as for a key that can be a bit harder... a lock smith might be able to cut ya a new one for not to much money or ya can search for a new locak and key set..

you do know how to open the machine for now??? there is a hole in the bottom that you can reach up and unlatch the door.. dont tip the machine just spin it on a table so you can get your arm inside.. allot of people have found thre key on the inside LOL

thank you all for your comments I got the tokens and I got the key made for the reset I just need to find the manual for red meteor and cause all the letters are in Japanese so any one has a clue were to get it its the same machine that LAWENFORCER posted it works great cant wait to buy another
