Default Height for hanging pachinko machines

Hi all! Don't know if this has been asked in a thread elsewhere, but I have my pachinko machines hanging on the wall, and I am moving to a new residence, giving me a chance to correct a bit of a mistake. I originally hung them at about 24" off the ground, which put the shooting dial at 34" off the ground. This is probably too high, as most people who sat down at the machines had to reach a little to operate the games. Does anyone know the standard height the machines are typically mounted at? That way, when I move everything, I can get the pachinko machines to the right playing level.

I don't know if there is a perfect height to put the machines. It really depends on what the height of your chairs or stools are, that you are going to use. Before mounting my machines I sat on the stools I was going to use and extended my arm to see what felt comfortable. Based on that measurment, from my hand to the floor, that's the height I put the "shooter". Of course a 5' person, (my wife), is different than a 6' person, (me). So I'am using 30" stools, I placed the center of the"shooter" approx. 36" to 37" off the floor. It's works out to be a comfortable height for both, myself and the wife.

Agreed. The best way is to use a stool that most would be comfortable with, Sit in it and set the shooter knob to that height. If a height adjustablr stool. then try setting up in the middle postition so you have the most up and down adjust from zero as possible. Of course, If your not using any chairs or stools, then use the above of 3ft as a rough guide.

Get a stool or a chair that you are going to play pachinko with. For a modern machine, Looking straight into the wall, this is where you want the center of the screen on your pachinko machine.
I found that by doing it this way, you will get a good average height for all of your machines to hang evenly. Worked for me even though I had to lower all of the stools I eventually purchased
for my machines. Good luck, and keep on playing!

I just finished my floor stand, made it to stand at the machine, it's about 32" off the ground, the lever is at 40" and the center of playing field is 54"
