Need help with Evangelion 6 pachinko machine

This is the first pachinko machine i've had and I am having trouble with the EVA button and the joystick. They light up but they don't seem to work when I press them while playing. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you checked the connector plug?

I've had some trouble with my Enter the Matrix pachinko.
When I opened the door (door only not entire frame) the connector of the buttons slides a bit out of it's socked on the board.
But just slightly, so no errorcode is given.

the EVA button may be like the chance button on other machines, usually it doesn't do anything, but, its supposed to up your odds of winning

a little trick of the palours to get people to keep playing and thinking they will win

i don't know about the joystick on Eva 6, it may only come in use only when an EVA is fighting or during special chance rounds

I have one of the Eva 6 machines, and the v-trigger is not used as much as other v-trigger games. It will be used from time to time, and the video screen will show an image of the v-trigger when it is going to be used. The same goes for the Eva button, which as Lucky Dog says is the same as the chance button on other moderns. again an image of the button will appear.

One little trick you can do is when the machine is going through its power up cycle is to squeeze the trigger button on the v-trigger, and the v-trigger will shake, and the air will blow around the trigger, similar to what will happen when used in the game.

Just play the game, the button, and v-trigger will eventually be used.
