Gatchaman/G-Force Pachinko..Is the Japanese Lady Supposed to Always Yell at You?

I just opened up my Gatchaman/G-Force Pachinko I got from 5 Bros. after Christmas (I know it was sitting in the box for awhile untill I finally made room for it!)

Upon each and every startup the Japanese Lady is yelling a warning at me!

First what is she saying and 2nd if this is normal for it always to say this about 5 times on every startup??

All doors are closed and it says this regarless if balls are filled or not.

Also I tried to reset by depressing the button on top of the on/off switch before turning on and leaving it depressed for a few seconds after startup but it does not have an effect on the warning being yelled on each startup.

None of my other Pachinkos do this when powering on and the only other one that started yelling at me on intial startup stopped when I was able to reset the game (Bruce Lee).

Is the game supposed to do this on startup normally or is it warning of something wrong?

Send a link of that video to Kazuki at 5 Brothers - as he will be able to understand it. Doesn't sound like the door open error. Have you tried the separate error clear button? (Not the reset)

never hurts to check all the plug connections, make sure none worked loose.

My Matrix machine will do something similar if i disconnect the power cord for a couple days. If i keeep the power cord plugged in i dont get the message and it starts up fine.
It might indicate a power failure?

The Jaws machine is infamous for its start up alarm that occurs every time it's turned on
And several of my new ones do this when resetting the machine, including minion god, and the gladiator evolution machine

I'm not at home to double check, but now I remember that the gladiator evolution makes the alarm during every start up ( it freaked me out a bit when I first got it as well)

OK, I got the scoop direct from Kazuki.

He says the Lady is saying: "The power was turned on" repeatably.
and for some games that's normal on startup as some of you have mentioned on your games.

Well that's good. But then... kind of annoying. Sort of riddiculous to announce something so obvious. Imagine a toaster yelling at you while it toasts your bread "I'm toasting your bread!"... and in a foreign language to boot. So a Braun toaster would be like "Ich bin Toasten dein Brot!" continuously. Annoying.

No wait... that would be AWESOME.

Whilst not ideal in the home environment, I imagine the 'yelling' is very useful in their natural habitat of the parlours where hundreds of pachinkos are in use and helps alert the parlour staff to the offending machine

My Galaxy Express 999 Machine makes a start up deal like that every time so my guess is that is NOT really unusual

I'm just glad its normal and all is working instead of it translating to: "Your Machine is Broken But I'm Not telling You Where or How to Fix It!"

I know, I know sat for 1 month in its box, unopened!!! I was going to use it as my reward for cleaning out and re-arrranging my gameroom.

Still not finished as there is always more to do and more pins to fix but finally got it to a point where I can have all my pachinkos in one space and still be able to access other games.

I know its not the most elaborate gameroom but its what I got, here's some pics:

Thanks! I always wanted a Theatre of Magic! It was a decision between that and and the Indiana Jones...I went for IJ but TOM is Definatley on my want list...only 2 little things keeping me from it...money & space lol!
