    Default Availability of this part

My search for pachinko parts turns up very little. Is this part available new?

As you can see, my spring adjuster thingy (please note the use of highly technical terms here ) is sporting the Alfred E Newman look by missing a few teeth.

I was unable to find a replacement of that part for one of my vintages, so I ended up buying some small loop gold chain at Lowes (think pocket watch chain) for around 99 cents. I cut a 4 inch length, attached one end to the spring, and used the chain links to adjust the tension on the shooter. Works like a champ!

What a great idea! And an excellent example of the KISS principle. Here I was thinking about programming my router to make em.

Bigdog, it's the shooter spring adjustment from a Nishi-ijin. I'll try to get a pic tomorrow when I get back out to the shop.

Looks just like the broken on a Mizuho I bought. Luckily I had a Nishijin parts junker to get it from. Now if only I can get a track cover that fits......Good luck with fixing your machine!

there's no pachinko parts stores or anything like that-particularly when it comes to vintage machines. spare parts are obtained from members or buying a parts machine which is easy enough-vintages are all over the place and this is a part common to all. however, a replacement could be made easily out of a piece of wood, plastic, etc. you can also alter the length of the spring which is the same as changing the position on the part in question.

What type of machine did this part come off of? I am unfamiliar with the function of your spring adjustor thingy. Pictures of your machine with an up close of where the thingy came from would be helpful.
I'm not addicted to Pachinkos. I can quit at any time. Did I tell you about the three machines that I have on the way?

actually the part you are looking at is the tension adjuster on shooter spring. You do not have to have the exact thing.

Or you can do the Nishijin thing. A metal plate full of holes with one end bent around the spring. Very high tech.

    100 machines and counting...
