well of course the 'perm' that this game refers to is the Betting Perms, Football Perms,

I believe the term Perm is being used as the shortened form of Perming or Permutations


Many many years ago, and well before the lottery was started, At work we sometimes would try our luck at the Football Pools, and i remember the term of 'perm' or 'perms' being used on the form you filled in / ticked boxes

Although to be honest I am not a better or gambler, apart from Pachi Points and the very occasional lottery ticket

Thanks for the Welcome's I've been lurking in the shadows for awhile and saw the other Easy Perm in the forum. The game is my wife's. She had been wanting it gone for some time now due to bad memories from her step dad. She would have smashed it and thrown it out. I feel it's a part of history's generations and should be taken care of by someone who can appreciate it. To the best of my knowledge it is in original condition right down to the finish, all parts are there, even the back panel. I've even seen it spit the coin out when you turn the nob after landing in the winning slot. It's been tucked away for the last twenty years. Hope someone has a place for it. Sorry, it doesn't come with a hair cut

I have a collection of these Allwin machines in various states of repair (and disrepair). This one looks to be in pretty fair condition compared to others I have seen on eBay. I would be interested to have this one in my collection, however the starting bid is much more than I have paid for any of my working machines.
