DAITO 1492 pachislo machine will not power up

I have a 1492 columbus pichislo by Daito that will not power up, when I turn it on the green light on the power supply comes on and goes dim very quickly and the machine is dead. If I disconnect the 26 pin ribbon cable from the motherboard it will power up and i can reset it and it will take tokens and the LEDs for all the bottons work on the motherboard. I have disconnected one cable at a time with the 26 pin cable connected and it will not power up, powers up every time with it disconnected. also has anybody heard of a rE error code

When I power the Machine up the green light on the PCU comes on and goes dim real quick and the machine is dead. This machine does not have a transformer everything is in the PCU I have checked for cold soilder joints on the pcu they are all good and all fuzes are good. I checked all connections, disconnected one at a time if I leave the 26 pin ribbon cable disconnected from the motherboard the machine will power up but is not fully operational. Any ideas
