Completely fraudulent listing... Total misrepresentation and against eBay policy. It's a bootleg Beatles product which is, by itself, enough for he old fraud dept to pull it and get on the seller. All they need is someone to say something...




If it was 100 bucks it wouldn't be a big deal, but at that price it's serious larceny! No different than selling a painted up old Timex as a Vacheron-Constantin...

The seller is misleading people to thinking this machine is a genuine Beatles Pachislo which it is not.they should put in the description that this is a custom built Pachislo and does not play any Beatles music at all.hope nobody buys this machine thinking it is a rare Beatles machine,I can't see anyone buying it though especially for that price.

I sent the seller a message to see if he seemed misinformed or just a fraud. I didn't research, so my numbers and facts won't be correct, just figures to make a point. Here is what I said ( i was trying to be polite) , " So many things! 1st: there was never ANY official Beatles pachislo machines, otherwise it would play Beatles music. 2nd: they were not made before the early to mid '80s. Look it over inside and out...does ANYTHING about it suggest 1971? Hell, a pocket calculator, in 1971, took up half of your desk top! 3rd: there are genuine antique, art deco, slot machines from the '30s that I would not spend that much on. This machine is clearly a custom job, where someone has replaced the top glass, and belly glass with Beatles artwork. Worth about $150 at BEST.I would wish you luck with your sale...but then I would be wishing that someone will get ripped off by buying something worth little and paying WAY, WAY, WAY, TOO MUCH for a common machine, customized, thinking they were getting a rare Beatles piece of history.

The machine does look pretty cool, but in my opinion is pointless not playing Beatles music. I wouldn't pay over $50 for the machine.

Looks like he is done trying to sell it for now. What is ironic is that in the real world of collectables, when you modify one to this extent, you DECREASE it's value.

I'd agree, the thing is that it wasn't even customized fully. All that was changed was the belly glass and artwork over the lcd, on top. The glass around the reels and the reels weren't changed. To even think of getting a premium price for a custom machine, it should be a full custom.

The sound/music is always a concern when doing a custom machine. It's easier to do a custom using a machine that has generic sounds or music. Not one with music associated to something. And then, to me, even the generic music should go with the theme of the machine, to some extent.

So just changing the top and lower artwork, without doing the rest of the machine, and having inappropriate sounds and music would decrease it in value, to me.

Just setting there playing that machine, looking at part of it being the Beatles and part being Jet Set Radio, listening to the music, would just be "weird". I've done a couple of custom machines and changed everything on the machine, so everything would go together. I even tried to match the theme with the sounds, so it made a little sense, as far as when you are setting there playing, what you are seeing visually goes with what you are hearing.

Here's a picture and video of the ScoobyDoo custom I did, for my grandson, it's far from a professional job but at least I tried to make the whole machine go together. I used a Babel machine and tried to use a "Haunted House ScoobyDoo theme" to match the sounds/music of the machine.
