While there are a lot of themes I like out there, having a popular theme doesn't always translate into a machine thats fun to play. I picked these because to me, they are fun.

Gosh that's a really difficult question!!

I have tried to buy only the machines I really wanted, so I'll just comment on ones I have and as you know, everyone likes things for different reasons, so I'll give a reason with each


1) Horror Mansion (creeps me out every time I play it, the theme, screens, music, just creepy-creepy)
2) Maharaja (It's the Music, makes me want to dance!! plus it's a beautiful cell and frame)
3) Garfield (What's not to love about a cute cat, it's fun and quaint all at the same time)
4) Julie Pinball (Love the theme, neat mini pinball effect and the music is great too)
5) Star Wars (Big Star Wars fan)


Newer machines I'd love:

1) Advent Vader (Star Wars)
2) Matrix
3) Gremlins
4) Sea Story
5) Any pachinko I can get my little hands on, they are all

PachiQue Next(Very interactive Role Playing Game theme ,epic gameplay,numerous locations,fantastic music,a leveling system,etc...I cannot say enough good things about this machine!
plan on making a thread for it and its many features,just been so incredibly busy with work lately

Tom and Jerry (multiple animated features on the cell (which actually move now and then),beautiful renditions of several classic T&J cartoons,exciting reaches,awesome frame,wonderful music)

Derby King early modern hanemono (This simple machine,from the early '90's, has as much fun,charm, and excitement as any later model machine out there)

King Of Dumplings (Funky theme,simple yet addictive gameplay,interesting and well designed yaku (center feature),a challenge just to get a sphere in the "spin" pocket, frequent reaches)

Persona 3 (Based of the stellar Shin Megami Tensei role playing game,interactive battles,beautiful graphics,a system where your character gets stronger the more you play,etc...)a must for fans of the series

Sounds very interesting ...do you have to really know your Japanese for this game or can you get by without?

Is there a youtube video out there of the game? I'm all about role playing games and would liek to see a pachinko machine incorporate it...

There is certainly a learning curve, but its just as playable as any other pachi around, there is just more to get involved in if you choose to do so,(I've barely scratched the surface so far)

Its obviously based on the Dragon Quest series now owned by Square Enix(particularly the 8th game in the series),Dragon-Quest-VIII-dragon-quest-viii-8045114-1024-768.jpg but I guess they couldn't get the rights for the name or images,but that didn't stop them from copying a lot of elements

I find them all fun and Patchque next has been on my list for awhile its just always a money thing and I always
want something. Here is my list based on what I own... I have more coming in the next 30 some odd days...

1. Cutey Honey Full Screen Go Nagi just plain ROCKS!!!
2. Enter the Matrix that 3rd screen is incredible! ( though my frame is red I wanted to be different )
3. Sunset Gunman It has Clint Eastwood ENOUGH SAID!!!
4. Yatterman Cr it is JUST plain fun!
5. Cyber 009/Minisuka Police 2 SOOOO much going on in these and as I said lots of fun...

My (Great Wave off Kanagawa) pachinko is my favorite to play that i own. The different pockets and holes, the randomness of reaches, the 3-d screen!!

I think Card Shark mentioned he has one. I played Jaws at Pachinko World in Wilmington NC, it was one of the more fun machines with good reaches despite being a bit older than most of their machines. I highly recommend stopping by if on the East coast.

Here's my top 5 I own:

Ban Ban Jump (A very fun bungee jump themed hanemono with unique yaku)

Cutie Honey (Need I say more )

Penguin (Arepachi with great gameplay, cool sounds, challenging, I've always liked penguins.)

Julie Pinball (Looks cool, "pinball chance" mode, good reaches/music, pinball theme is well done.)

Treasure boat of lucky 7 God (Hanemono, lots of action, great yaku, traditional Japanese music and theme)


Top 5 ***WANTED***

Tokio Deluxe (any version)

Ranma 1/2 (The 2015 Hanemono version, not the digipachi. )

Showa Story (It's a newer 2015 model, yet it's got a flipper!!! )

Apollo 1 (Word on the street is it's even more fun than the Penguin arepachi...)

CR Arepachi Renpatsu Ohana (Last arepachi made in Oct 2004, has LCD screen )
