Do you mean REAL DRUMS in a literal sense? If so I take back my mockery of "rare machine"!

Just referring to the machine as having physical rotating cylinders which are called "drums"as opposed to a computer generated slot screen

contacted the seller and set up a meeting for tomorrow,fortunately Hurst is only a 20 minute drive from my house (if traffic cooperates)

He sent me a short video, it seems to work ok, I can see the ball hopper empty light is on and that there is one bulb out in the reels, (looks like the lowest bulb in the left reel)
Im not going to pay $200, but if the bulb is the only issue, and it looks easily fixable, I might have to snag it


One thing that makes this one appealing is that I just got a Fever King Blade pachinko from Frank at Akimono.com (fantastic machine!) and since they are both made by Sankyo I consider them to be part of a set
(there is also a Fever Queen Neo that came out in 2004,was placed in a Victory frame)

will let you know how it goes...

I have the fever king in the victory frame, it has a set of clear reels over the regular reels.

reels tease you and bump back and forth making you thing you are going to get a fever.

How cool Paul! I was wondering if the King Blade was a remake (Its has, and does the same things you described),turns out it is!

Would love to see some pics or a video some time


P.S. I just added a Gameboy/Gamboy Color/GBA emulator to the Wii you sold me, and now can play all those great handheld games as well as the japanese releases (including ,of course, virtual pachinko machines )

Managed to make it over to Hurst last Satuday and got a chance to test it all out ,other than the one light bulb, everything else worked like a charm!
this won't go down as my best deal ever ($175,), but I really love the theme,and they were a very nice young couple that seemed like they might be struggling a bit at the moment,
also the Queen is quite a charmer!I feel it was well worth it
(still have to do some cleaning on the face)

as it turns out, the bulb is anything but ordinary
its a mini flourescent that is soldered directly into the PCB board,
