Questions about new machine Iron Chef

Hello everyone,

I recently got my new machine, Iron Chef. I have a few questions.

First off, what does this pocket do? Balls just pass through with no spin or payout. IMG_1039.JPG

Next, how does this tulip under the start pocket open? IMG_1040.JPG

Finally, I have one speaker hooked up to a volume control and I want to add another volume control or a 2 speaker control. this picture is where the i think the speakers plug in, the wire all the way to the left has the volume control hooked up. which wire would I need to attach the volume control for the other speaker?
