Exclamation Treasure Island Pachinko: Hi Def HD Wide Screen

Not cheap. From texasauction. If the customer base doesn't want these machines we may not get any more. The description below.

    NOTE FROM SELLER

This is the first look at the new generation of Pachinko Pinball machines from Japan. Treasure Island has the new Wide Screen High Definition Video and amazing Animatronics. These machine cost us almost twice as much as the machine we have sold in the past. If you want the greatest entertainment available for your Game Room consider Buying It Now. We have received 2 full containers of these latest technology machines. Should we determine our customer base does not want the latest in technology we will inform our Japanese suppliers to send the older and cheaper machines. The outcome will be determined by you, our cherished customers.

First look of the new generation? It's a 2002 model.

Should we determine our customer base does not want the latest in technology we will inform our Japanese suppliers to send the older and cheaper machines.
    It's 2005, I thought a 2002 model was an older, cheaper machine?

He makes it sound like this machine is a 2005 model, or at oldest a 2004. He also makes it sounds like he's using strong arm tactics that if someone doesnt use BIN that he wont be putting any newer machines on ebay.

OK, if that is the best TA can come up with, then bring on the older games, i.e., the one's he bought from Republic.

Sorry to say, but it seems Curt thinks he can bully us into paying more for less! I just don't like the tone of his approach to buyers.

I honestly think we are watching a company begin to self destruct.

Maybe his trip to Japan did not bear fruit.

    Damn... that was bold.
Strong arm a customer into a buy??? Holy Crapola, Batman!!!

I've heard it takes BALLS to play this game, but...

So if he doesn't get this price now...

    NO SOUP FOR YOU!!!

    OK.
    I'll shop elsewhere...

Meanwhile, someone else can purchase his newly bought out "parlor".
and his TWO CONTAINERS of "LATEST (2000-2002) TECHNOLOGY".
    Sit on 'em. And rotate.

I've never seen anything like it. Except at the gas pumps!!!!

My own opinion... as stated in my sig...

i'm sure his price will go down when these don't sell good.

2 containers are a lot of machines to sell.

I don't own a Pachinko yet (soon, hopefully real soon), but aren't are choices pretty limited to TA, bradfishesice (and he gets such rave reviews? ), and a few here and there from slotusa and stealth? It doesn't look good!

That "high def video" is a bit of false advertising as well. There are specific standards that a video display must meet before it can be called high-def. I'm pretty sure this one wouldn't qualify.

You got a point there! We need more importers to get involved. Maybe we could persuade Gaku or ZCore to give it a whirl? They are both pretty active members here on the board. Also when I was at-slots last week, I think he mentioned about getting some on his next container (June, if I recall?).

This is what the auction sounds like to me...

"I don't have these yet... but..."
"I have found some-one who will sell me 200 of these for $100.00 each..."
"If enough people bid on this auction, then I will get the 200 machines..."
"If not enough bid, I will hold your cash for a while and return it at my own leisure..."

I'm Pretty sure the new CR Hanabi has a bigger screen, as the WHOLE ENTIRE BACK of the Pachinko is a LCD from what I can tell. (Or at least 50% of the back)

The hype in that ad doesn't bother me, I've come to expect nothing less from most ebay sellers. The fact that they don't list their items as low-start, no reserve auctions, or at the very least best-offer listings tells me they have no interest in selling machines at "market" value. Unless the price is very good, I don't consider those sorts of listings since they seem to be in conflict with the whole premise and idea behind ebay.
