    Default Payout motor problems.

I have a sammy POPEYE pachinko machine and the payput motor makes a grinding sound every other second while it is on. I fille both payout lines and they just run right through the motor as if its trying to constantly payout... I took out the motor and it is constantly turning 25 degrees every other second and doesnt stip regardless of playing. Do i need to replace the motor and if so any help on where to get one?

Is this machine new to you? If so it may be catching up on missed payouts ... someone played it without payout balls. If so just keep feeding it balls and it will eventually stop.
Perhaps the noise in the payout system is caused by some debris in the payout unit.

do the balls running thru drop out to the back or the front tray??

if they drop out the back you need to find the shutoff lever near the payout motor and vertical tracks,

if they are falling into the front tray its catching up on won balls not paid

Maybe . I am a sushi chef and his friends go to my shop so i think i got a deal! I am brand new and kicking to the hobby i have gathered up all of the local machines and i dont know if my addiction will stop. I played a pachinko machine in osaka a few years back and i skeezed my way into the reach mode on 1,000 yen... I was unfortunately un versed in pachinko, i didnt have any clue. My japanese friend takayuki was like PUT IN MORE MONEY! and i said "why, i want to spend my money on kobe beef" and he explained how people spend 100 dollars just to get to that mode and troughout the whole trip he ripped on me about the experience. His younger brother actually kinda hated me for it for he lost 80,000 yen the day before! Want to learn everything i can about this wonderful hobby. Hello everyone!

The next time that happens you can try resetting the machine. There usually a button located by the power switch, turn the game off, hold the button in and then power back on. Release the button when the game starts back up. That normally clears out the wins and starts the game fresh as new. Enjoy your new hobby!!!
