i used to have a speed racer good machine but the gold on the front of the machines seems to flake off after a while.i have had a close look at this one and it seems the same thing is happening.the gold seems to go dull then starts to flake off,do not think you can do a lot about it.

It is a fun game, at certain points you use the outer reel buttons to try to bump Racer X off the road.
