error code on sammy model

To reset your machine, start with the machine off. Now turn the reset key to the right. sammy.jpg

Now turn your machine on. Set your odds, 1 thru 6, (6 being the loosest setting). This is done by pressing the blue button. sammy1.jpg The odds setting will show up in the win or credit window, on the front of the door.

Once you have selected your odds, hold down on the spin lever, for about 5 seconds, then release.

Now turn your reset key back to the left.

Your machine should be reset and the error code gone.

thanks for the reply, I tried what you said but nothing happens,error code stays lit up no change,any other suggestions? If it helps the coin hopper is running trying to pay out and the reel motors are humming like they are trying to spin if you spin them by hand they will start to spin. thanks

Well from the pictures you posted your machine was originally a 1994 Aladdan II by Sammy. That's a pretty old machine and I'am not to familiar with all of the in's and out's of it. If the hopper is trying to pay out and the reels are spinning, these two things should not be happening at the same time. The only thing I can suggest is start unplugging all the connections and re-seating them. Check the connections for any corroded or dis-colored or bent pins. I've heard that on some older machines that a burnt out fluorescent light can put the machine into an error code. It really sounds as if you may have a motherboard problem. That's not good.
Sorry I couldn't be of more help, maybe someone more knowledgeable than myself would have some suggestions.

Thanks for the help! I was able to find other info on the machine now that I have a better knowledge of the machine, The belly lamp is out and I have read that it can cause error codes as well so i will replace the bulb and try again, Thanks
