I am estimating around 200-300 balls in that square container. you?

    And does it look complete?

Nishijin Model A Single Shot conversion machine. I'm guessing mid 1960's, but I'm sure others would know a more exact date. Looks like there are about 100-150 balls in the tub. The model A machine is a recycler, so you don't need many balls to get it to work.

There is a fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."

looks to be later then a converted single shot.. (no place to load single balls) but its an older machine for sure.. my guess is early 70's

looks to be compleat.. little waterstaining.. but not bad..

if the price is right i would say go for it.. every one needs a Model "A"

yes it apears to be compleat.. but the distance pictures make it hard to confirm

worth a punt for the right price

It is a Nishijin Front Overflow. Build year should be 1970 (or 69) It has the funky alien CF and the frog pond background. http://www.pachinkorestorations.com/...ond%20IIcp.jpg

It looks to be 100% complete. Hard to tell. See if the seller can send you a few closer pics of the back. Chrome also seems a tad rough but I have seen much worse.

    Should be a nice machine.

    100 machines and counting...

Oops. Sorry looking at it again. It doesn't have the frog pond background. It has the C's background. (shown below)

Looks complete. Front overflow machine. Fairly desirable model. I never consider the balls in a sale, only keep the VERY GOOD ones and put the rusty ones in a coffee can for testing GRUNGY machines before buying/restoring. If below $60...buy it! If over $60...decide if it CALLS you.
