    Default King Jack Questions

HI again all fromm a newbie. I have a couple of questions concerning my King Jack machine. I'm hoping someone can answer the questions I have about it.

First I'd like to say I really enjoy this machine as do all who have played it. The KJ works very well and has great sound IMHO. It is about the sounds that I'm curious about.

Whenever a jackpot, 7's or bar is in the first window or row (it doesnt matter if is right to left, left to right, or even in the middle) and a second 7 or bar comes up in a possible winning line, the machine lets out a sort of "screch," as best I can describe it.

It dosen't bother me, I'm just curious about it. Is this normal?

Also, if you are very quick to press the stop buttons it gives out a little "twiddle twiddle" sound.

Is there any significence to that sound?

I haven't seen any mention (yet) of King Jack on the board and am wonderinng if any of y'all have one or know anything about it at all.

I have yet to figure out who manufactured the King Jack. All I can tell you is the power/reset switchs are to the right of the reels.

    Many thanks!

The machine is letting you know that you have a possible winning combination. It's very normal on pachislos. On your second question, I'm not sure about a sound made when hitting the stop buttons to quickly? If you try and spin the reels too quickly you'll get a wait sound. I can't say I've ever had any of my machine make a sound on how fast I pressed the buttons.

I wasn't very clear on the "tweedle" stop question, sorry.

The "tweedles" come when when you start the next play.

Some machines play short music or sounds when you start the reels until the machine is ready to allow you to push the stop reels buttons. Make sure you feed them tokens, I believe it is what makes them multiply!
    and a few others.

Vocabulary update! This brings to mind that word from another thread:

onomatopoeia and the derived adjective onomatopoeic: 'the formation of names or words from sounds that resemble those associated with the object or action to be named, or those associated with the object or action to be named, or that seem suggestive of its qualities: atishoo, babble, cuckoo, croak, ping-pong, sizzle'.

Now we can add "twiddle twiddle" to the above listing.

Wow! I'm honored! I actually contributed to the onomatopoeia/onomatopoeic lexicon.

Obviously you are correct --- even about feeding them tokens.

Only problem is, the gestation period is way too long!
