Million God Gold X

I have a question for anyone who has a Million God or Gold X. Does your top panel (the one above the reels) light up when the machine is turned on, or does it only light up during bonus play?

It blinks on and off twice at start up (turning machine on).
Than only lighys up durning bonus rounds.

The "God Game" only lights when in the "God Game" bonus. (I thought I had a dead transformer.)

I was thinking on putting a blue celephane over the "God Game" light tube. Then I wanted to throw in a few white leds that are powered while the belly light is on. This way it is always lit, and flashes to a brighter blue/violet (Blue and Red = Violet), and blue/green (Blue and Yellow = Green).

The final effect would be similar to how "Neo-Planett" reels seem to change colors when you win big.

I also added white celephane to all my lights that are on the sides of the reels. EG, "Insert Medal" now lights as a solid light, instead of seeing the bulb/filament through the lettering. I used "Smoke" celephane for the LED digits. That hid the electronics, and made it look better.

I may also put a gold celephane just under the wheel/MillionGod light. I don't like light shining on the top of the wheel, it is distracting and makes it look like they forgot the light on the bottom of the wheel. This way I will get a little diffused light, and it will accent the gold that is already there.

My last issue with all of these machines is the stupid translucent wheel seporator plastic. All my machines will have thier semi-clear wheel seporator plastic painted black/white/other, depending on the machine theme. I hate that you can see all the cheap internal components inside... screws, wires, light shrouds, dust, etc...

You can swap the 2 plugs behind the god lpanel. That way the god lights stays on all the time and the long tube light comes on in bonus mode. It looks much nicer if you switch the 2 plugs behind the god panel.

which 2 plugs? i like the idea, but don;t want to just start pulling plugs (like i just tried to do)

its the plastic box right by top speakers,

on the left side of plastic box you will see two identical connectors, just switch them.

make sure your machine is unplugged first.

Which of these two machines is better? I won an auction on ebay for a Million God and I was shipped a Gold X. Should I be concerned?

they are the same machine as far as i know.

some were made with gold x bellyglass.

I agree they are esentially the same game, but the video will show the Gold X as well, so it's not just belly glass. I checked some dates at Back-Door-Slots yesterday and it looked like the regular Million God is a 2002 model and the Gold X is a 2003 model.

I just got into this Pashislo thing, and got the Million God machine. I put the autoslot cable http://www.autoslot.info/ and a one armed bandit kit. So far it works great.
