Unhappy Anyone got a BRUCE LEE Pachinko?

    Hi all,

Dragged out a number of pachinko games, stored since about 2006.

Bruce Lee looks to be complete and nice - but without a power lead. I've located the power board, and what I assume is the power unput - but it has three prongs, and I was expecting to see two! Now, two of these prongs go to the power switch, so I assume these are the main ones - but the third one goes off to a small board on which the dongle sits...

Could anyone please have a quick look at the machine (if you have one) and let me know the situation here!? I can't imagine it's an earth, as none of the others here have an earth connected via the same power coupling... Of course I also don't want to shove power down the wrong line.

The inline fuse appears to be rated at 120v, although I assume this is a 24v machine...

    Any help gratefully appreciated.

    Cheers!

    James

    Hi James, welcome back

Sorry I don't have a Bruce Lee, but I'm pretty sure a few of our members have

the only thing I would clarify though is which Bruce Lee it is??

I'm presuming it's not the 2008 Bruce Lee Game of Death, if it's been in storage since 2006?

but it may help the members give accurate info if they know the year / manufacturer if possible, as it may be that another pachinko from the same manufacturer could also have the same board and connections

Good Luck, hopefully it will get resolved for you

I know Scott (Naha13) has a Bruce Lee machine. I am not exactly sure which one it is. He should be around soon. I know he is travelling at the moment.

Thanks guys - yes the machine will be from around 2003-2005 ish?

I have one complete, and another in bits. Neither has the power lead attatched

I'm going to try and get some of these old games back up and running, as now I've shifted them all out of storage my workshop is like a pachinko parlour...

Assuming that this is the 2004 Bruce Lee game in the Takao 'Hornet' frame, then the first two pins (left hand side nearest the fuse) are the AC24v inputs and the right hand pin goes to the green ground wire (you can leave this unconnected).

For confirmation you can look at the Japanese frame manual for this game on my website, the power connector is shown on pages 7 and 12.
