Default Hanemono center feature repair question.

so i finally goto to look at my machine, and i noticed that the little floor on my center feature doesnt function correctly. i have pin pointed the part that seems to not be functioning. i believe it is the solinoid (sp?, also i think that is a solinoid, i might be wrong calling it that). I was wondering if there is a way i can test it to see if the part is working, and i have a bad connection, so it is not getting powered. or if the piece is broken. if it is in fact fried, is there any way to replace it, or is that something i just wont find a replacement for? here are some pics. it is the black cylinder with the white sticker. any insight will be appreciated

this video below shows how the floor is supposed to shut

@ 1:13 the floor snaps shut, and allows a second v zone to be accessible, this is how the bonus is continued for another round.
without the floor shutting even if the ball goes in the original v zone, the bonus ends.

if needed i can up a video of my machine. thanks in advance!

Yes that is a solonoid.. there usualy perty bullet proof... Im not saying its cant go bad but its an overly simple mech..

it s simple electro magnet that when powered it pulle the steel rod inside.. then when power is removed the spring pulls the rod back out..

if it moves i would search else where... jsut my 2 cents

i can move it with my finger, and it lifts the floor. so you think it just has a break in its power supply somewhere along the line?

Does the solenoid have any voltage written on it? I would think 24 VDC,but I could be wrong. Follow the wire back to the circuit board, if you can. Backprobe the connector to see if the board is sending voltage when it should. I would try DC first, then AC next. Heck, if there is a connector...wiggle it, unplug and inspect it. I would expect a bad connection more than a bad solenoid! Testing the solenoid is easy...once you know what kink and how much voltage.
