Default Mahjong Arrangeball - 1973 Fuji Pai Pai Gemu

    Manufacturer:
    Fuji
Pachinko Name: Pai Pai Gemu (Pai Pai Game)
    Year: 1973
    Type: Arrange Ball

Seeing as though I only have the one Arrange Ball machine, and it's the only one I've ever seen in the UK so I doubt I'll ever get chance of another, I thought I'd start us off and move my thread here first.

If you just wish to jump to the machine specific details, those start in post #57 Mahjongg Pachinko Arepachi (Pai Pai Gemu 1973) - Page 3

But its always fun to follow the complete thread conversations around here

Default Mahjongg Pachinko Arepachi (Pai Pai Gemu 1973)

There's machine that's just gone on the you-know-where...

It's possibly the only machine so far that I've felt I *need* (I've been too happy with my single Nishijin), but it's too far out of reach

Kent is a long trek from Swindon!

That's a good looking machine, plus it works. I really like the winning patterns on the instruction placard. I've never seen a filled circular matrix before. Thanks for posting and have that thing shipped to you!

Well I am interested if it was a few miles closer. I find the inside extremely interesting. Never have seen an arrangeball with so many relays and no circuit board. Kind of like that as you can just replace the relays if they go bad. An extemely interesting machine and I will be watching. Lookout for emmadog he will talk them into shipping it.

Not that I have not considered it. I noticed that he says it works on your ten pence coins, It should be noted that I have a large amount of Japenese 10 yen coins. One wonders if they would work in this machine. They do work barely in some of mine but are a little too light. Good luck to you all and whoever gets it will be very happy they got it. Now if none of you want to buy it and someone will ship it I would be interested .

Will make a great Christmas present to someone. Happy Holidays

Well I showed it to the wife and she wanted to know if we could come pick it up.

I already bought my christmas present and have fixed it up. Will post a picture of it on the site. It is in my album already. I almost think that is the oldest arrangeball insides I have seen. The reason I say that is that their is no circuit board. Maybe I am wrong. Needless to say it is a nice machine and one of you should post the pictures. Of course more people will bid but that is ebay. Better than Yahoo japan. They get to keep running your bid up till they find the max. Good luck to you all.

Well it has crossed my mind to contact the seller as I'm in Switzerland right now and could make a detour to our strongest ally and save on shipping. Nope, can't do it- I have two new arrangeballs to spend too much time on.
The only machine I can think of that may be the same age or older ( if lack of a circuit board indicates age instead of a different design philosophy) is the one on CL up in Wisconsin I think it was. Anyway, it was a MahJongg machine that appeared to be entirely mechanical. I wonder who ended up with that one??

I didn't post a link - I knew the hardcore UK people here would have caught it as quickly as I had.

Not very fair though. There are more members here than machines available, and you lot are too greedy!!

Maybe one day I'll afford a second machine, but I bet you lot will outbid me even if I tried to get it
