First pachinko purchase

Hi, I am new to this site. I just purchased the pachinko machine called Safari from Texas Auction on Ebay. I paid 179 plus shipping.
I wont receive it for a few days. Just wondering is this considered a good machine? Was the price fair. Also, If I like this machine would u purchase Lord of the Rings or Popeye for my next machine. Thank you in advance for the advice. I hope I get the bug that so many of you have on this site!

Grats on your new machine! I always thought Safari looked like a pretty cool pachinko.

The name of the machine is "CR Gaoo L". The "CR Mohretsu Gaoo" series is the sequel from 2003. Gaoo is spelled with the kanji characters for fang and king. "Gaoo-" is also a Japanese onomatopoeia for the sound made by a lion.

Hats off to Bryan for his very sage input which also develops our vocabularies. Onomatopoeia: very good word and very good use of it. I don't think I have seen "onomatopoeia" used more than two or three times since college days. Very good, Bryan. Gaoo for you!
