Default Looking for a part - Model A Single Ball

I know it's a long shot, but I thought I would try anyway.

I am restoring a machine for a customer, and the plastic pieces on the play field are VERY brittle due to the machine being stored in an attic for 25+ years. I have managed to salvage everything except for one part that literally disintegrated as I touched it, let alone remove it from the play field. So I am hoping a member here might have a parts machine that has one like it and would be willing to sell it to me.

The machine is a 1964-ish Nishijin Model A single ball machine, and the plastic part that broke apart is the ramp that the ball rolls down when it is dropped into the hole for play. This piece also covers the shooter and positions the ball for launch.

If you have one from a parts machine that you can live without, please send me a PM and let me know how much to send you for the part and shipping.

    Thanks in advance!

If you wait about a month, I'll have my 3d printer (the boot strap, anyway) working. In theory, I'll be able to print a part this small. Or, I suppose you could create a mold, etc.

    Hmm.

I too have access to 2 different 3d printers. Need to figure out how they work though. Thanks for reminding me about that.

So that's what happens if they live in an attic? I need to move mine now. The wife's not going to like that.

If you send me a shot of the front of the machine I might be able to help. I have a spare piece for a '66.

Thats a '68. I have a complete '68 at home, so I can verify if the part for the '66 will work on the '68. I'll check tonight and let you know.

Sorry, the part from the '66 does not look like it will work. It looks very similar but there are just too many small differences to make it a good replacemnt.

3D printers are amazing. do a search on YouTube to see what these are capable of. Long time ago Mudfud first brought these to my attention and I have been fascinated by them ever since. There's some reasonably priced ones at the consumer level but I don't know how well the resolution is.
Anyway, Jacks if you're interested, send that part to me and I'll make a duplicate. Of course the results depend on the condition of the original.
