    Default Speaker Clicks

Has anyone ever had like small pop sounds/ click sounds after EACH sound is played on their machines? Have they fixed it. I think it could be a bizillion things.

Ive tried disconnecting the power, adding a surge protector, removing the protector, made sure all the cords and wires were snug to EVERY SINGLE LITTLE SOCKET. So I've given in, I need some help anyone else know anything about this?

I got Asian Beetles in my Giga Fever. They liked the light in the sides. Good thing they were quiet.

One of my machines made a sound from speakers ocassionally, like static in a stereo. The problem was the volume switch had mild corrosion in it. This happens quite often in stereo equiptment. I used some spray from Radio Shack and it fixed the problem 100%. Some sprays will ruin the switches so I suggest getting the type for Color TV's. I forget the exact name of it and can't find the can right now - A good silicone spray should be safe also. WD40 is one that works sometimes but some controls have parts that WD40 will melt so don't us it on newer electronics, I ruined some switches with it a few years ago on a Pioneer Stereo.

i suspected the switches may have something to do with it, is their any easy way i can remove the plastic around the switch to spray something in, or are these switches easy to replace?

I get like a buzz and click noise when I shut the power off of my Qlogos. You this this could be related to the volume switch like above? Maury have you tried the spray on your switches?

The spray will go into the tiniest of holes so just spraying into the the switch where the volume lever is should do. You might need to turn the machine upside down to get spray to flow better into switch. Then just move switch lever back and forth several times. Do this with machine unpluged. Should fix the problem.

I know this is an old thread, but has anyone else tried this? I have an older IGT model that has some static noise coming out of the speakers. Should I spray the silicone spray at/inside the speakers when turned off to see if that does the trick? Thanks.

I saw the Radio Shack product on Dan's Pachinko Page (I forget the url). The product is "Non Flammable Control/Contact Cleaner & Lubricant", Radio Shack (I guess it's The Shack now) product number 64-4315.

I'm a newbie here and owe the site an intro post. I started with the intention to refurb one machine and within a month I have three somehow. More to come on that, hopefully in the next few days.
