I don't mind spending a couple bucks to get something I am really excited about. I have found a few vintages locally but I only hAve space for one machine,so I want to get something Im really into. Is shipping pretty safe? I don't have any experience with the machines, so I might have a hard time fixing anything that breaks in transit. Anyway I have been reading the site for a month now, and I want to get playing!

When they are packed properly, they will generally survive shipping just fine(unless you ship form Jersey to Portland - sorry Owen, couldn't pass that up).
Pachinko -Nishijin "C" Fishing Game & Hockey, Red Lions, CR Red Lions, Heiwa Double Wing, Takao Bruce Lee, SanseiR&D 777 Sevens Rock, Sankyo Wanted!, lots of other vintages!; Pachislo -SPIN LUCK, Kung Fu Lady, Gamera High Grade, Gundam

    as member Naha13 said.

They will survive no problem when packaged right. They aren't terribly hard to pack too. If you have a seller who has no clue how to pack it you may want to show them this thread. http://www.pachitalk.com/forums/pach...-part-1-a.html

But if you buy a machine from a member almost all know how to box it correctly.

    100 machines and counting...

This is a machine I will be selling soon.
This is a lousy pic of it. I will be taking better pics when I list it.
All you can see are shadows from the pins.

The feet that are on it are HUGE but it works very well that way.

Now you just need to get your girlfriend to take the dog out for a long walk, say 3 or 4 hours? That should give you enough time to "test" it out better.
