Default Kyoraku Big Bang Frame setup

Do I need to do anything before I put in the JAWS Cell into the frame?

It doesn't have a stand. What size feet/stand do I need to get and screw into the bottom?

The power cord is 24v 15amp. Do I need to add a transformer?

Anything else you can tell me I need to know?IMG_0068.jpg

Yes, You will need a 110-24vac transformer rated at 4.5 A or higher,
For feet I used 2 batons 2"x1"x12" joined by a cross member at the back of 4"
    Don't forget your dongle

Anyone can I get a transformer from Home Depot, Lowes, etc?

What screws to use to attach the feet/baton as Drunkenclam described above?

This frame is brand new and still has the clear plastic sheet on it.

I'll see about a dongle later too.

Can anyone tell me what the LED and connections are in the pics above?

Not sure where to obtain one in the US, but I'd recommend a 24v transformer with at least a 6A rating for this frame. Do not be tempted to plug it directly into a wall outlet without a transformer, you will blow something up.

The two 2-pin connectors are 'hall computer' signals for monitoring the status of the frame, the left one is 'Door open' and the right one pulses when balls are paid out. To the right of these connectors, facing down, is the dongle connector. You'll need a dongle plugged in here to enable the shooter handle to work.

The LEDs are the error code LEDs for this frame, the picture is just a little too blurry for me to read them (I can just about make out the second one that says 'Case Counter Error'). The 'phone' connector in the same picture is just for parlor use, it connects to a security reader to check that the machine has not been tampered with.

The LEDs on the power board just light to show that all the internal voltages are present. Not sure which is which, but if they all light, then everything is good!

Slot-pachinko puts a 5amp one on the one I have and it never gets warm but MORE does not hurt!!!

I think we need a powerVolt GROUP buy as you need to QUITE a few at once from directly and that is pricey...

Did you get it from Slot-pachinko? I'm surprised he didn't include the transformer looks like Curts son doesn't know all that much about pachinko after all.

The frame is metal so nuts and bots may be better to hold on the feet. I know slot-pachinko used to used heavy duty glue to hold the feet on they were virtually impossible to remove.

If I had the specs I could get a quote from one of our companies previous suppliers.
    It's a stepdown transformer 110v to 24v and 5 amps right?
I think I found one that is $18 but I might be able to get a
better price if I had the complete specs.

There are transformers on Ebay. Gaku is selling them, you could contact them direct.

I saw the one on eBay, but may take a week to get here. I have a Home Depot up the street, I will go look there for a step down transformer 110v-24v 6a or higher with connector ( in pic 1 ) as many requested above.

Does that sound right? Or is it better to get the one on eBay or from one of our vendors? An

    Anything else?

http://www.powervolt.com/slotmachine...rmers_smr.html but you have to buy a few... PRETTY sure you can't buy one and these rock!
Heat shut down etc. I would love to do a group buy on some 6-8 amp ones...

I'm sure that's about 1.6A. If looking at the VA rating. Look for 150VA or higher.

I may see what the transformer in my Gladiator is and remove it if it is good enough. Then I'll order a better one to replace it. The best one I think I see is the one off eBay through Gaku that is 9a.

If anyone has a good one then let me know.

Does this have or need a Reset key? I don't have one and I don't have a manual.

No reset key. If you need to re set it there should be a small button near the on/off switch. Press this button while powering up.

Ok I took the transformer from the Human Creative/Sumo Wrestlers pachinko and installed it on this frame.

Green ground wire in pic 2 & 3 should it be attached to the frame? As shown it is attached to a screw on the side. Had no place on
the frame to attach it too.

You don't need to worry about the ground, I'm pretty sure none of mine have the ground connected.
