Welcome to PachiTalk!! Thanks for becoming a member of our forum.

In a nutshell, your machine is worth whatever a buyer is willing to pay for it, however you must first determine where the proper starting point is for the negotiation.

Determining the right asking price of a vintage machine can be difficult, as there are many variables and factors that go into the equation such as condition, age, geography, and theme/desirability. There have been many discussions here on PachiTalk regarding this exact topic, and I have provided a link below to the discussion thread that I personally think will provide you with the best response to your inquiry. Open the link and read through the entire thread, and I think you will be able to determine your machine's value on your own.

Please post back with any additional questions you may have regarding this topic or regarding your machine. As you will find, the members on this site are very eager to help!!

Again, welcome to PachiTalk! Please visit us daily and post often.

    to Pachitalk!

First off what part of CA are you in because prices tend to differ by location.

Basic things on pricing are condition, location, rarity, and brand.

It is hard to tell the condition because your pics are sorta blurry and really dark (thanks fro trying to lighten them up Mr. G) Prices also differ depending on location. Like in Northern Cali. average price may be about half of the average price in Socal. And then rarity. The hard to find machines are from the 40s and those are worth a ton. the next hardest to find are from the 50-60s. You machine was built in the 70's so it is fairly common which drops the value. But what helps it is the brand. Okumarayuki is sorta a small brand and it is kinda harder to find their machines so it does increase the value a little due to the somewhat harder to find brand.

I don't feel confident on giving you an estimate till I can get what part of CA you are in.

If you have any questions feel free to ask. And once again welcome to PT!

I know you're looking for a number so I'd say 100 or so give or take if it's cleaned and working reliably. these machines are very plentiful and although your brand may be less common, it's still the same type of 70's vintage as the vast majority as far as functionality. fully restored and not just refurbished it could go for much more but that requires many, many hours of work.

    Okay.

I'd say on CL you could ask between 75 -90 with no problems. One ebay you could probably see between 80-110. (or more) But on ebay you won't see that price unless you are willing to ship it.

$150 is a really good price. I sold my Maruhon which was in excellent condition for $100.
