Payout not Working - Help!

Hi everyone. I have a question that I hope someone on here can help me solve. When the ball goes into one of the payouts, the ball travels down the back like it's supposed to, but for some reason, the ball doesn't seem to have enough weight to push the payout lever all the way down. Instead, the ball will sit on the lever and push it down about 3/4 of the way, so it isn't triggering the payout. When I trigger it manually, the payout works fine. Is there a reason why the ball wouldn't weight the lever down enough to trigger the payout? Thanks in advance to anyone that might be able to help!

First off. Please post a picture of the problem area. That will help us all.

2nd what brand machine is it. (ex: Nishijin, Sanyo, Sankyo, Daiichi.)

The only thing I could maybe thing of is that the pivot point is full of gunk. So you basically have to take the part off and clean the shaft.

This is where the picture helps for us to scribble on it and show you the problem area and be able to tell you how to fix it.

could be gunk but ill bet its lack of balls..

how many balls do ya have in the back top hopper?? your going to need a few nundred to make it work but as soon as the level falls the machine will shut down so it does not jamup..

On my single shot Comicgo machine, I had a damaged plastic channel that allowed the ball to get off center of the arm. This took some of the weight off of the arm and I had to help it with my finger. When I made a new channel from a Listerine bottle, which positioned the ball directly on center of the arm...functioned perfectly! They are balanced that close! Both Max, and Mopar make good points as well. It could be any of the above, only pics will tell.

Here are 3 pictures. 1 is showing the amount of balls I'm using. I'm not sure if I the amount I have it enough or not. The other two are pics of the lever with a ball on it, and the other is a pic without a ball. The game itself is a Nishijin. I hope that helps.

Thanks for the pics but I'm not able to help you out because you have an early modern which is a machine that I have little knowledge of. Other members should be able to help you though.

hard to tell for sure..

i see in the second pic ya posted at least one ball inside the machine where it is not suposed to be.. might be a second one to the left as well

i would have to get a Model "C" machine down and see if it being there would cause the problem your having..

my recomendation is

dump all your balls out.. take the time to get them all out and then fill the top hopper and try again..

and i forgot.. you do have enought balls in the hopper for the machine to work right...
