Nice truck !! I drove 1/4 ton jeeps all the way up to 5 ton cargos in the Army and I like the AM General multifuel big 6's with the 4 speed with transfer case and drove the heck out of military Humvee's and 2 1/2 ton shop vans enjoy your ride !

Congrats on your new ride!! It sounds like you got a pretty good deal. I am a Chevy person as well and have been thinking about upgrading to the Duramax diesel engine in the not-so-distant future. I will be interested to hear your thoughts and opinion after you have had it a while. Do you plan to do any heavy towing with it?
As for your old truck, I have a few vintage Pachinko machines I would be willing to trade for it.

Jeff, thanks! I'll let you know how it performs. The info center in the truck indicates how many miles, and hours the truck has been run. It also shows the amount of fuel consumed and calculates the mileage over the lifetime of the truck. So for 80,000 miles, the average has been 16 mpg. I've heard I can expect around 20 on the freeway if not towing. We'll see.
