Default Broken rheostat/knob on eva 6 v trigger frame

Im looking at purchasing my first machines and have the opportunity to purchase an eva 6 with a broken knob. The machine is supposed to be fully functional otherwise, however the front plastic of the knob is broken/missing, and the rheostat itself appears to be non functional, it turns but there is no response when turning the metal rheostat rod itself. Supposedly the corresponding rear gear from the rheostat is missing.

Im fairly technical and could remove and resolder a new rheostat, or with parts i could repair the existing one. However i know nothing about the existing rheostat to be able to replace/repair it.

Does anyone know any information about the voltage/type of rheostat used? or better question, if anyone sells the sanyo bitsy knobs and or rheostats themselves.

This is the picture i was provided if it helps any. i dont mind a little repair work just need to know what parts i need to get first!

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Would love to get some basic repair knowledge, and to know who to contact for parts in the future

Idon't know about the inner workings, but there is a grounding ring on them that makes them work.Maybe custompachinko might have an extra shooter assembly.

Also comatsutrading is a new member here ,you could pm him and see if he can find the shooter assembly. Just a thought that might help your search.

Is this the signed one off eBay. As above. Get in touch with CustomPachinko see if they can get a replacement for you. Also make sure your touching the ground ring on the back of the shooter knob and your dongle in the back of the machine is seated correctly and not come loose in transport.
If its a different machine from a different source. Try contacting comatsu trading. They are a member here. They are located in Japan and recycle old Pachi machines. They might have one you can buy and send to you.

Now how did that happen with Yose. Great minds me thinks

Im emailing around, but does anyone know if the knob itself is universal across all bitsy eva machines, or all bitsy machines in general?

It looks like its a single assembly set, based on this

    Evangelion Shooter Knobs

But if anyone has an eva 6 or macross v trigger and or older bitsys, does that look like they just kept reusing the same basic knob/assembly?

Check it every day and it might be relisted. Most things do after a day or so. Remember that the Japanese take longer vacations for New yers than us
I found it by searching for evangelion as nothing came up with search for bisty, sankyo or v trigger.

Thats right, But that will only search the Pachinko section, Sometimes parts appear in the Others catergory. Also try searching one menu up, You can also find promo goodies there too

Huge thanks to drunkenclam, my friend in japan was able to snag that auction! lucky that auction had doubles of exactly the parts i needed, the damage was more extensive than just the front of the knob missing, the inner gear peg was also sheered off. Machine is working great now and i have a knob and ball launcher to spare still!

Glad you got it sorted, I did keep checking but never saw them relisted. By the look of it, The shooter knob looks like the same attachment as the lumina but the motor assembly its self is completley different.
