    Cool Sammy Animal Kingdom "E1"

This is my 1st. Post. I have had my machine over a year. This is the only time that a simple RESET would not fix the problem.
I have a "Sammy Animal Kingdom". I have done both a DOOR KEY reset & an internal Switch reset. No good. Everything seems to be working fine
but it will not except any tokens. They just keep returning to front tray. E1 E1 E1 E1. ARGH!!! Please, any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
    THANX

Well, a E-1 error code is a hopper jam. Take all the coins out of the hopper and check it. The part that looks like a phone dail should turn freely.
    Then do a hard reset.
    1. With machine off turn reset key on.
    2. Turn machine on.
    3. Set the odds.
    4. Hold down on spin lever (5 seconds).
    5. Turn reset key to off. (You should hear the coin mech click shut.)

    first off

    Welcome to Pachitalk

second make sure ya get the whole reset correctly... if ya miss a step it will not work..

In order to change odds, machine must be in idle mode with no tokens or credits
being played. Locate internal toggle switch (red tipped or silver with on/off tabs)
or insert key into internal key switch (if your machine came with 2 keys).
Machine must be turned OFF. Turn key clockwise or flip reset toggle switch to
the "ON" or "ODDS" position. Turn main power switch ON to access
    programming mode.
A number from 1 to 6 will be displayed on the CREDIT meter on the front door or
on a display inside the door. Locate the reset button. This will be located on
your power supply. On SAMMY brand models, the button is on the inside of the
    door only.
Depress the button and notice movement of number being displayed on the
credit meter. Once the desired level is displayed (1 to 6) pull "spin reels" handle
(black or red knob on front door) down, like you are going to spin the reels, to
lock odds level into machine memory. Turn key switch back or flip toggle to
"OFF" or "PLAY" position. Machine should immediately initialize. You will know
the machine initialized if the "Insert Medal" light starts flashing. If not, make sure
you remembered to press down the "SPIN REELS" lever.
If it still doesn't initialize, turn power to the OFF position, wait 15 seconds and
turn power switch back to ON position.

Hi I have a Sammy machine and sometimes you need to reset your odds level. I'm just assuming you have a Pachislo machine.
When you do your reset be sure to change the number on the front. There is a small door witha blue button. You press that butoom which goes from 1-6
The odds are high to low so a 1 will not payout very often. 6 will pay out a lot more often.
Anyway I found this out by getting mine angry at me for tampering with the coin mech. hard resets did nothing I had to change the odds as well.
I'll go over the hard reset just in case you missed a step. It can happen.

This is for a Sammy Pachislo

    Open up the machine
On the bottom left hand side of the machine is a plastic door
Open the door and put your reset key in the switch.
There is a rocker switch next to it, shut that off and turn the key clockwise.
Turn the rocker switch back on.
On the inside of the door you will see a small blue button underneath a small plastic door.
Press that button while looking at the front of the machine and you will see the numbers go from 1-6 and then repeat.
Pick the number you want to set you odds. 1 pays out a little 6 pays out a lot etc...
Then depress the round knob that is used to put the reels into motion, hold about 2 seconds.
You will see the number on the front for from a 1-6 turn to a 0 (zero)
Turn the reset key inside counterclockwise to the top position and that should clear any alarms or
    other issues.
If it doesn't work, you might have a jam.
If you have a jam look inside the coin mech. If the jam is cleared you will have to do a full reset.

    Hope this helps.

    Oh and
