Default How do i find out if my machine is Yamasa or Daido?

Hi Everyone, I am having a problem getting my machine to pay out from the hopper. I heard that Yamasa and Daido machines dont work in collect mode, only credit mode. How do i find out if my machine is Yamasa or Daido? I have Pachislo King of Fire Machine..Thanks, Gregg

try putting in 50 tokens, then play 3 at a time for hopper payouts

Generally, you can find out if your machine has the option of switching between credit/non-credit mode is to make sure the machine has no stored credits (indicated by a blank or "0" in the credit display). The token return button is often near the coin mech on the face of the machine. Pushing this repeatedly will cause the machine to toggle back and forth between credit and non-credit, with the credit mode indicated by a "0" on the display and non-credit by a blank display. If your machine does not do this, you do not have a machine that has the option, and credits will always be added in the window until "50" is reached. (Be sure the switch you are pressing for the token return is electronic, some machines also have a mechanical switch or button that is used to release a token jam in the coin mech)

If you only have the option to accrue credits, then what Luckydog has indicated is the only way to get the machine to physically pay out on each win. Do not press max bet, just keep dropping in 3 tokens prior to each spin.

That is a Hopper Empty code. Something is causing the machine to determine no tokens are in the hopper. Generally this happens after the hopper spins "dry" for several seconds during a payout.

I take it your hopper does not spin at all? If so, remove the hopper from the machine and disconnect all the cables prior to doing so. Some hoppers can be disassembled partially, but first, reach your hand inside and see that the wheel at the bottom of the hopper spins freely. Hoppers normally spin one direction only, and it is usually counter-clockwise. Sometimes a token or some other coin that doesn't belong in there is responsible for jamming the movement. If it does spin, throw a couple tokens in, spin it again, quickly, and see if you can get the tokens to spit out of the slot at the front of the hopper. If not, something is jamming up this port.

If everything is operating as it should, the problem is in the motor, the sensor that counts the tokens coming out, the wiring or plugs, or something internal with the machine itself. If it is nothing to do with the hopper, the only way I could suggest to troubleshoot this is find someone locally with a similar hopper and swap them temporarily.
