No idea on the name but if its fully working and got a couple of hundred balls. Sounds like a great deal to me. Especially if it was in the UK

It's a Maruhon, CR Hanabishi Kanta (CR花火師勘太).
The name means fireworks master Kanta.
The hall debut was May 7, 2002.
The machine is a digi-pachi (digital pachinko).
The main digital is a three color dot-matrix display.
It has a summer festival & fireworks theme.

So I have yet another noob question about this machine, the current owner has never played it nor knows how to play it. What should i look for when I go to purchase this machine?
And how do I go about setting it up for the first time?(only could find vintage setup instructions)

Well if it doesn't come with balls. I'd take a couple of hundred.
You want to check the action of the shooter and make sure it shoots.
Also check the payout function from the motor. By dropping a ball into the start pocket. Make sure you get balls paid out and the LED numbers start to spin.
Unless you have or it comes with a daverob dongle, You will not be able to check the loan buttons on the front.
Errr setup...Hmmmmm
Make sure the ball dump is closed and the ball gate is open.
Fill up the back hopper.
Put 100 balls in the front hopper.
Turn on the power.
Wait 20 seconds then start shooting.

I only know the sankyo lumina frame manual pics from daverobs page. 9

But the backs mostly have the same layout for componants, Although they do use different switches.
