Does anyone know if the fan on this machine is suppose to be on whenever the machine is on, is anyone else's fan for this machine or manufacturer really loud or is something wrong with mine.:confused:

The fan on mine is on all the time. Is it loud? Depends on what you mean by loud. Mine was loud enough that I moved it out of the main game room and put it in the stairway landing area so it wouldn't be so irritating. So, I guess that's loud.

What gets so warm on the machine that the fan is needed? If it doesn't get too warm, perhaps you can disconnect it?
In other words, for home use, is the fan really needed:questionm
the fan is put directly over the LCD Slotter
Sheesh, now I REALLY am losing interest in aquiring any LCD model.Are they all fan impaired???
Dont let what i said discourage you from buying a LCD model its not as loud as a tornado coming thru your house its just a bit louder than a normal computer fan
And not all LCD models have fans.
