Default Custom machines selling for over $800/ £500

    Hi all,

Dont know what you think of custom machines but thought some of you might be interested, so here goes::

i purchased a few pachislo machines in recent month for approx £50 each. i loved the machines but wanted to see if i could make a few $$ customising them. too cut a long story short i got my friend who owns a custom graphic company to replace all the graphics(reels and all glass) of my bellco digi flush machine with that of CHELSEA FC . i was simply stunned when i saw it all finished, considering he only charged me £40.(will post pics soon, as i cant seem to upload) i then went to my local chelsea supporters club and asked if it would be possible to display machine for sale. lol. when i showed the machine to club chairman he was in awe and simply said he would give me the £500($800+) i wanted there and then.the club then sold 100 raffle tickets at £10 each with the winner taking the machine, so club made £500 also. i am in the process of customising machines for various other supporters clubs(rangers fc,man utd, celtic fc), who were more than interested when i explained how they could raffle it and make $$$ also.

    will post pics asap

What a fantastic idea - makes sense of course when you consider how popular fruit machines are in the UK, and the ease with which a pachislo could be converted to any theme you like.

Great thinking - hope there's a business in it for you!
There is always another machine around the corner...

I have a digi flush as well. I was wondering how you the artwork works for it. Is the artwork attached directly onto the glass? Or sitting in front of it where it could be easily removed and replaced? I'm sort of assuming that it is attached to the glass.

So for the average person, i.e. me, to replace the artwork on their machine, I would have to basically do the following:
    1. Get custom glass cut.
    2. Design artwork to put on the glass.
    3. figure out what type of material to print the artwork on that a) light shines through correctly, and b) somehow adheres to glass.
    4. Also figure out what type of material to print the reel artwork on.

That sound right? Any tips on any part of those things?

Either way, I'd love to see some pictures of what it looks like! Before and after!
