    Default Help! new to this...

so my son found this machine on craigslist. we picked it up and have played with it...pretty cool so far. however, most of the coins fall through. found two metal pieces floating around inside that i suspect are part of the coin mechanism, but i'm not smart enough to know where they go. any help is appreciated. thanks in advance!

    but some coins work???

the tokens you using look kinda gross dirty??

are the ones that work different size then the ones that dont... even just a verry verry small differance will make a differance..

you might consider buying some new tokens.. (depending on how many ya have..)

They do look like parts to the coin mech, it looks like the front where there is a tab sticking out where the token first slides over that opening,to line up the tokens to pass through the counting sensor. They are usually held in place by a spring that keeps tension on them.

Mopar is right about the token. GROSS!!!
i definitely agree with Yose, those are parts of the coin mech. I suspect someone was trying to modify the ramp to take coins or something like that.
either he gave up and dropped the parts into the hopper or they were put in place loosely and fell out.I think some parts are still missing though. You may
need to get a new coin mech.
Maybe someone can post some really good closeups of their coin mech so you can compare. My camera was smashed during a flight.
